The Ghilardi di Este gym returns completely renewed and more welcoming, with a new face and modern colors: in fact, the work of accommodation and redevelopment of a very central space that every day hosts both the students of the first degree secondary school “G. Carducci”, and numerous athestine sports associations, who practice cheerleading, athletics, athletics, Judo, sweet gymnastics, ginnastic, ginnastic, ginnastic, ginnastic, ginnastic, rhythmic and sport of historical re -enactment.
The intervention, with the overall value of 55,847 euros, has developed in several phases. First of all, a structural reinforcement With the insertion of Dywidag bars at the level of the coverage of the large gym, so as to guarantee greater safety for the building. Subsequently we proceeded with the Restore of the walls of the gym and the lateral changing rooms, removing the bewitched parts and intervening with injections of specific products to block the capillary rise of humidity. To make the spaces more functional and contain the costs, one has been laid in the main gym Double plasterboard plate, spaced from the wall and raised from the floor to encourage correct ventilation. To complete the works, the entire complex (large gym, corridors, changing rooms and external basement part) was painted; In addition, the battiscopa were laid and some portions of the flooring in linoleum were placed. Finally, a thorough cleaning returned the structure ready to be used.
