On tuesday, June 10, Beau Brindley, R. Kelly’s attorney, submitted an emergency motion in Chicago accusing officials from the Bureau of Prisons and the Department of Justice of orchestrating a murder plot against the incarcerated singer by using a fellow inmate [[1]].

Brindley alleges that prison officials contacted Aryan Brotherhood members Mikeal Glenn Stine and David Keith Harris in April, proposing Kelly’s assassination in exchange for their freedom. According to Kelly’s attorney, stine, who is terminally ill with cancer, informed Kelly about the plot and has since signed a sworn affidavit confirming the scheme [[1]].
