Queen Camilla must have been subjected to an assault attempt as a teenager.

This is what author Valentine Low claims in a new book about the relationship between the royal house and the government, writes The Guardian.

The Queen is said to have told former Prime Minister Boris Johnson about the episode, while he was mayor of London between 2008 and 2006.

– did it my mother taught me

While traveling with a train on her way to Paddington, a man must have tried to touch her.

– I did what my mother taught me. I took off the shoe and hit him in the crotch, the queen must have told Johnson.

According to the book, Camilla was 16-17 years old when the incident happened.

Camilla jumped off the train at the Paddington train station. There she found a police officer and said the man had attacked her. He was then arrested, according to the book.

The royal house has not commented publicly.

– Responsible citizen

– She was not just resourceful and strong, she was a responsible citizen who made the man arrested, says Low to BBC.

The author is a former royal house correspondent for The Times, says she has spoken to Johnson’s former communications director, Guto Harri.

The 78 -year -old queen has long fought against home violence and sexual abuse. She has devoted much of her time to supporting victims of sexual abuse.

– They are some of the bravest people I have ever met. Their stories are heartbreaking and have made even the toughest listeners cry, she said in a speech in 2020.
