The dictator of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin wants to deprive Ukraine of industrial centers, having joined or destroyed Kyiv, Kharkov, Odessa and the Dnieper.
This opinion was expressed by the famous publicist Vitaliy Portnikov in the Subburide Political Club program.
On the map of the Blitzkrig, which the Russian military leader Valery Gerasimov hung in his office, it was no accident that the Kharkov region was not among the seizures, Portnikov noted. Kharkovshchina was supposed to be part of the so -called puppet of Ukraine, which the Russians wanted to create in 2022.
“Medvedchuk said he needed Kharkov. That without it it will be an inferior resource state, and it will not be able to provide itself. And they just gave him Kharkov. This is not the first time the Russians give Kharkov to their puppets. From Kharkov, as the capital of the occupation in the 20th century, it also began, ”Portnikov recalled.
But now the purpose of the invaders has changed.
“Kharkov and Dnipropetrovsk region are now parts of this expansion. Why? In order for Ukraine, not even completely occupied, it ceases to be a political, economic, demographic problem for the Russian Federation, Russia needs, firstly, to reduce the population of Ukraine, to about 15 million out of 40. And secondly, to deprive this state of its industrial centers, if it cannot be completely destroyed. Thus, Kyiv, Kharkov, Odessa and the Dnieper must either be attached or destroyed. That is, in Ukraine, millionaire cities should disappear. Or they must be occupied and attached to the Russian Federation, they should become a million-plus cities of Russia as in the case of the regional centers of the Odessa, Kharkov and Dnipropetrovsk regions. This is such a simple and ambitious task for the 20-30 years of this confrontation, ”Portnikov explained the current mood of the Kremlin.
But the question arises, whether Putin has strength. Because for the occupation of such an extensive territory as Ukraine, Russians need to agree that the Russian people can eventually disappear.
“That not only Ukraine, but also Russia is waiting for a demographic catastrophe without the ability to restore the nation, the birth rate of which is already, due to social problems, alcoholism, lack of prospects, etc. Reduces. This is one of the countries where ethnic Russians are not restored. And the death of so many sexually mature men in the fields of war puts an obvious cross in the future of the Russian nation. Not in the Orthodox sense of the word, because this is the Cross of the Devil on an aggressive state, ”Portnikov predicted the future of the Russian Federation.
