The Prévent’TIMM truck is a system dedicated to health prevention and organized screening for breast, cervical and colon cancers. It is managed by the Department of Hautes-Pyrénées, ARS 65, in partnership with the CPAM, the MSA, the SELAS Dépistage Barousse Pyrénées, the CETIR as well as local health professionals (general practitioners, midwives, etc.). The Prévent’TIMM system (preventimm.fr) only performs mammograms as part of organized screening. Patients must: be aged between 50 and 74 years; not having had a mammogram for at least 22 months; not be followed for a personal or family history of breast cancer or for a specific breast pathology. The appointment includes: a mammogram; a clinical examination (palpation of the breasts).
Documents to bring: identity card, vital card, images and report of the last mammogram if existing. The imaging procedure is entirely covered by Health Insurance.
Cervical cancer screening (smear). Patients must: be aged between 25 and 65; not having undergone screening for 3 years between the ages of 25 and 30 and for 5 years between the ages of 30 and 65; not be followed for a personal history of cervical cancer or a pathology requiring special monitoring.
The appointment includes: a screening consultation and taking the smear. The smear requires an advance fee of €12.74, to be paid by check or in cash. This amount is fully reimbursed by your mutual insurance company. If patients do not meet these criteria, we will unfortunately not be able to receive them.
