The People’s Depot, an alternative bottle drop site, may soon move to a permanent, indoor location a mile and a half south of its current perch off of Southeast Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard under the Morrison Bridge.
The Depot has existed in an outdoor format since the city authorized it at several locations when grocery stores were tightly regulated during the early days of the pandemic. It later moved to its current spot under the east side of the Morrison Bridge.
