Tomorrow at the lunch with Pope Leo, in the Paul VI Hall, on the occasion of the World Day of the Poor, there will also be around fifty trans people, accompanied by Don Andrea Conocchia and Sister Genevieve Jeanningros. Pope Leo therefore confirms this “gesture of welcome”, as Don Conocchia defines it, which began with Pope Francis.
“A heartfelt thank you to Pope Leo for this opportunity to meet and have a shared lunch. It seems to me to be a great sign of attention and closeness to people and the entire LGBT community”, underlines Don Andrea, parish priest of Torvaianica.
