From tomorrow, the first book of Pope Leon XIV will be available in bookstores “And let peace be! Words to the Church and the world.” There are the first speeches of the Holy Father about peace. The book published by Libreria Editrice Vaticana, has 160 pages and will be available in Italian, English and Spanish.

In his first speeches, the Pope, who came from North America, gave everyone a few of his priorities: God’s primacy, communion in the Church, searching for peace.
He emphasized how fundamental “the obligations of anyone who performs the service of power in the Church: to disappear, that Christ would remain, become small, that he would be met and adored.” He also revealed his great desire: the United Church, a sign of unity and communion, which will become a leaven for the reconciliation world.
His numerous appeals for reconciliation do not relate only to politics, but to the heart of every man: the Pope emphasizes that peace begins in each of us: in the way we look at others, we listen to others, we talk about others.
This valuable book gathers the first speeches of Pope Leo XIV, “thanks to which you can get to know the Pope better through his own words,” reads the communication between the communication of the Holy See.
