Planning a European getaway in 2025? Fear not, as low-cost Icelandic airline PLAY is offering a limited-time deal that could save you big on your travel costs.

PLAY Announces 25% Europe Flight Discount

Starting this Friday and running through January 10, PLAY is offering a generous 25% discount on flights to Europe. This deal covers multiple popular destinations including Amsterdam, Berlin, Dublin, Copenhagen, Iceland, London, and Paris. The sale is open to travelers who need to depart from Logan International Airport, Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, or New York Stewart International Airport.

Travel Dates and Conditions

The discounted tickets are valid for travel between January 25 and February 14, February 17-22, February 24-28, March 29 to April 5, April 19 to May 31, and September 1 to October 25. However, availability and restrictions apply, and baggage fees will still incur extra costs.

Understanding PLAY’s Market Strategy

It’s worth noting that PLAY recently announced plans to scale back its U.S. service in 2025 after experiencing “disappointing” profits in the North American market. Despite this adjustment, the airline remains committed to its pay-for-what-you-need model, aiming to provide affordable flights to European destinations.

Since its inception in 2021, PLAY has expanded its presence in the United States, including flights from Logan Airport since 2022. The airline’s decision to offer substantial discounts signals its desire to attract more passengers amidst the fluctuating landscape of air travel.
