Google has launched its Pixel 10 series, introducing new features and modifications to its first-party applications. These changes aim to improve teh overall software experience for Pixel device users. A key announcement was the integration of NotebookLM features into Pixel screenshots and Recorder.
Pixel Screenshots Gets NotebookLM Integration, Can Now Identify Content on the Screen
Google is incorporating several AI-powered features into its native applications. Previously, it was reported that Gemini would be directly integrated into Google Translate to enhance translation accuracy. Now, NotebookLM is integrated into the Pixel Screenshots and Recorder tool, as announced during the Pixel 10 series launch.
With this upgrade, Pixel Screenshots can identify weather the content on the screen is suitable for a notebook. Users can directly add the content to the NotebookLM app by clicking the designated icon.
This feature is currently available for Pixel 10 series users. To access it,users must enable the AI experience settings. Once enabled, they will see AI-generated titles, summaries, and suggested actions for the on-screen content.

Users Can Now Add Transcripts from the Recorder App to NotebookLM
Users can now directly add a recording’s transcript to NotebookLM from the Recorder app. The transcript will be added as a new notebook,complete with an AI-generated summary and title.
These features are currently exclusive to Pixel 10 series devices. Google has not yet announced plans to roll out these features to older Pixel devices, but it is indeed anticipated that they will be available in the near future.
