Anyone who has a Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL (available here on Amazon) or Pixel 10 Pro Fold can now wirelessly exchange data with Apple products via Quick Share without any additional software. Google Quick Share (formerly known as Nearby Share) and Apple’s ArDrop are now fully compatible, as Google announced in its Google blog today, November 20, 2025.
Unfortunately, only the current Pixel phones benefit from this practical Quick Share extension for the time being, but that should only be a matter of time. As the video below demonstrates, Pixel 10 smartphones can exchange data such as images directly with an iPhone via Quick Share, and it also works the other way around, meaning an iPhone user can share data with a Pixel 10 receiver via AirDrop. All that needs to be set on the respective reception page in terms of visibility is to receive all channels for 10 minutes, as a support document explains.
The video below demonstrates the process using two images. According to Google, the rollout of the new Google Quick Share version begins today, but as usual it may take some time until the feature reaches all Pixel 10 users. In Google’s security blog, the manufacturer also addresses the security of the feature update and indicates that the two manufacturers also want to support the “Contacts Only” mode in the future.
