The President of the Executive Committee of Caixa Geral de Depósitos (CGD), Paulo Moita de Macedo, was announced as Keynote Speaker at the XXVI Executive Digest Conference, which will take place at Culturgest, on April 16th.
Paulo Macedo was born in 1963. He completed his degree in Business Organization and Management at the Higher Institute of Economics and Management of the Technical University of Lisbon in 1986, and also the Senior Management Program at AESE, School of Management and Business, in 2001 .
The executive began his professional activity at Arthur Andersen, where he worked until 1993, as Assistant, Senior and Director.
Between 2008 and 2011, he was Vice-Chairman of the Executive Board of Directors of Banco Comercial Português, and also a member of the Supervisory Board of Bank Millennium (Poland), and between 2010 and 2011 he was a member of the Supervisory Board of Euronext.
During his professional career he was also an administrator at Médis, Companhia Portuguesa de Seguros de Saúde (2001-2004), administrator at Interbanco (2000-2001), administrator at Comercial Leasing (1998-2000), among other important administration positions.
He was also a university professor, between 1986 and 1999, at the Higher Institute of Economics and Management, at the AESE MBA, at the Postgraduate Courses in Taxation, in Tax Management and
