Predicting The Next Russian Offensive: Insights On Potential…

Ukrainian military and political officials have been warning for months that the Russians are preparing a new attack in late spring or summer. Considering the current logic of the enemy’s actions at the front, a new blow should be expected in the Donbass. However, in several publications – both Russian and Western media – we see predictions that completely different regions could be the possible targets of the residents. When will there be a new Russian offensive?

Now the enemy is continuing the offensive actions he started last fall. And, despite the fatigue of his soldiers, he still tries not to slow down. The residents want to move forward as far as possible before Ukrainian units receive additional weapons promised by the United States and have time to seize new borders.

Next, there are several options for event development. The first – after the arrival of part of the American aid the enemy will stop and rest. And when new Russian units and formations come into action, they will begin a new phase of offensive activity. The publication’s sources in the Defense Forces believe that the creation of new units of the occupation army will be completed around August.

NATIONAL ASSEMBLY MPs Face Two Major Meetings

All deputies are invited to the opening ceremony of the session in Tsimbazaza today.

Unprecedented, the ordinary session of Parliament and the legislative election process overlap. The candidate deputies will thus be on two fronts with parliamentary work on the one hand and the electoral campaign on the other.

Both in campaign and in session. As required by the Constitution, the first ordinary session of Parliament begins on the 1st Tuesday of May. For this year, parliamentary work begins today and lasts sixty days. At the same time, the electoral campaign for the legislative elections of May 29 opens tomorrow. Two important meetings that the deputies and candidates will have to tackle head on.

The overlap between an ordinary session of Parliament and the highlights of the deputation process, which are the electoral campaign and the vote, is unprecedented. This unique context should not impact parliamentary work in the Senate. It is in the National Assembly that the situation becomes difficult. The vast majority of deputies are, in fact, candidates for the legislative elections. Of the ten members of the permanent bureau of this institution,

Judge Finds Former President ⁣Trump in Contempt

CNN

Judge Juan Merchan has ruled that former President Donald Trump is in contempt for repeatedly violating the gag order in his hush money trial. This marks the 10th time Trump has been found in violation, prompting the judge to consider the possibility of jail time.

Potential Jail Sanction

Merchan stated on Monday that going forward, the court will have to consider imposing a jail sanction on Trump for his actions.

The judge emphasized the seriousness of the situation, acknowledging Trump’s status as a former and potential future president. Despite his reluctance to take such measures, Merchan made it clear that he is prepared to impose a jail sanction if deemed necessary.

Fines and Consequences

In addition to the contempt ruling, Merchan fined Trump $1,000 for the violation and ordered him to pay the fine by the end of the week. This follows a previous fine of $9,000 for nine prior violations of the gag order.

Violations of the gag order can result in fines of up to $1,000, jail time of up to 30 days, or both.

Background of the Case

The hush money trial in New York involves allegations that Trump falsified business records to conceal payments made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels.
