Paul Wanner: Last-Gasp PSV Eredivisie Registration

by Archynetys Sports Desk

The 19-year-old midfielder, who has been taken over from Bayern Munich for 15 million euros, is registered 37 seconds before closing the deadline and is therefore entitled to play against FC Groningen on Saturday. Bosz is not yet sure if he immediately takes him with the selection.

Wanner trains along for the first time on Friday afternoon and based on that a decision is made about his employability. At his previous club Bayern, the German was just back on the training field after an ankle injury. Bosz cannot rely on three players against FC Groningen.

Alassane Pléa

Alassane Pléa has been eliminated for a long time due to the knee injury he ran against FC Twente. The PSV trainer sympathizes with the unfortunate striker. “The operation of Pleá went well. Seen in this way he is good. But of course it is terrible, if you are just new to a club that you are out of it for so long. You don’t give this one and certainly not him, because he is a very nice boy.”

In addition to Pléa, Joey Veerman and Mauro Junior are also not deployable against FC Groningen. Veerman has a slight injury and probably only misses one duel. Mauro still suffers too much from the ankle injury, which he has risen against FC Twente, but can probably reconnect quickly, Bosz indicates.

The employability of Ricardo Pepi is still uncertain. “In the return of this specific injury, it fits that he must have a few days of rest before he can take the next step. He will train and we will assess tomorrow whether or not we will take him in the selection,” said Bosz, who is busy that PSV is busy with an extra striker, with which the loss of Pléa has to be collected.
