Ozola’s latest single “Aust Rīts” and the anniversary concert
Latvian hip-hop artist Ozols, real name Đirts Rozentāls, has pleased his listeners with a new single “Aust Rīts”, which marks a new stage in his career. As Latvijas Avize reports, this piece symbolizes renewal and an influx of creative forces. The process of creating the song began in August 2025 at the creative camp in Saulkrasti, where Ozola’s longtime associate Niklāvs worked on the beats. Kaspars Vīzulis, beatmaker “Pre’set”, Arnis Rachinskis from “Mute” studio, Māris Zihmanis (Elf) and Ritvars Garoza also participated in the creation of the single, creating a musically rich and high-quality composition. The premiere of the song has caused excitement among the listeners, who hail it as a “new level”.
The song “Aust Rīts” is aggressive, direct and unfiltered, with jargonisms and brutal openness that characterizes the life in the districts and the environment that has shaped Ozola. A video was also created for the single, created by the creative team of “Armless Birds”. It highlights the fast pace of life of the current era and the habits of everyday addictions, which can sometimes become an obstacle on the way to self-fulfillment. The video clip balances between reality and metaphor, offering the viewer not answers, but feelings.
Thirty-year anniversary celebration
Simultaneously with the release of the new single, Ozols has announced his upcoming 30th anniversary concert “Respect and Love“, which will take place on December 5, 2026 at “Xiaomi Arena” in Riga. This event marks 30 years since 1996, when the group FACT was founded, and in 2001, his debut album “Cieņa un Mīlestība” was released, which was the first full-length rap album in the Latvian language. The concert promises to be not only a look back at thirty years of creative activity, but also a celebration that will combine both the classical hits loved by the listeners and the latest works. Ozols remembers his first arena concert at the end of 2023 as a huge emotional adventure.

Ozols is known as the godfather of Latvian rap and is one of the founders of Latvian hip-hop music, whose career began thirty years ago.
