Music as a prodigious glue and thread that unites everyone. Even those who cannot listen to it. It is a certainly innovative and inclusive music education project that, since last December, has involved two classes of the Balducci primary school, which is part of the Comprehensive Institute 3, as part of the “Intecci” project promoted by the Municipality of Sesto Fiorentino together with the Comprehensive Institute 3, the Italian Chinese Cultural Research Association Yang Huang and the “Bruno Bartoletti” music school.
In the two classes, one second and a fourth, which welcome two children who do not speak and do not hear and some Chinese pupils, an orchestra of arches has been created, more precisely violins and cello. Expert professionals of the Bartoletti Music School, in synergy with the teachers of the school, led the classes, one hour a week, to an innovative path of learning music and the tool based on Venezuelan Method Abreu which was born in Venezuela thousands of youth orchestras. Through body routes, jumps in colorful rims combined with written notes on cards of the same color, barefoot feet to hear the vibrations, body percussions, guided movements in space, rhythms with tennis balls, the boys and girls of the two classes of the Balducci primary school involved in the project, all, together, to be able to play violins and cellors with the boys’ orchestra. of the Bruno Bartoletti Music School canceling, thanks to music, every difference and disability.
The ‘result’ of the ‘Orchestra project’ will be visible next Saturday at 15.30 in the cloister of Villa San Lorenzo with the Balducci children’s end of the year concert and the Chinese school by the Bartoletti Music School.
