At least five people died on Friday afternoon in a car accident that involved a tourist bus in the state of New York.
On the bus, which was directed to New York City, 54 people traveled, mostly Chinese tourists, Filippini and Indians returning from the Niagara waterfalls. “We think that the driver” of the bus has “distracted, has lost control and then reacted excessively,” said the police, adding that the vehicle came out and overturned.
Passengers of the passengers did not wear the seat belt. “Each passenger presented some kind of wound” and at least two would have been subjected to surgery, the police reported, adding that the driver survived.
