A new autumn weekend arrives in Rome. A program of events that satisfy all tastes is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday.
From food festivals to markets, from theater for adults and children to music. And it will also be a greedy weekend, not so much chocolate in Rome and its surroundings.

From Friday 7th to Sunday 9th November “Ravioli from the world” will be on stage at Eataly Ostiense: the second floor will be transformed into a real gastronomic tour of the world, among aromas and tastes that cross the Asian, South American and European continents. From the Sunday table to the dishes of large celebrations, each filling will be a small treasure chest of memory and flavour. Modern Mrkt, vintage furniture and collectibles market exhibition
On Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th November the unprecedented Modern Market event arrives in the city, the brand new event dedicated to modern antiques, vintage furniture, author’s design, posters, memorabilia and collectibles. Suppli festival in Ponte Milvio
The first edition of the Festa del Supplì arrives in Ponte Milvio on Saturday 8 November. A whole day dedicated to the king of street food. The event will take place from 12pm to 10pm and will bring together the most representative brands of the Capital to celebrate the supplì as one of the most authentic symbols of Roman street food and city conviviality. Riccardo Rossi at the Olympic Theatre
Riccardo Rossi arrives with his new show at the Teatro Olimpico in Rome. “I wanted to be a musician” will be on stage on 8 and 9 November. Rossi focuses on his great love for music, how it entered his life and how it has always accompanied his professional and non-professional experiences over time. Ancient Rome between art, anthropology and dramaturgy at the Teatro Argentina

The morning will offer the public an immersion in the ancient, a timeless time that still dialogues with today, to explore how millenary stories and myths continue to shape our present. Roma Chocolate all’Eur
From Friday 7th to Sunday 9th November, “Roma Chocolate” will be the protagonist in Viale America, on the lake side, transforming the neighborhood into a real open-air chocolate boutique. The appointment is from 10 in the morning until the evening, with master chocolatiers ready to let you taste their artisanal creations and tell the secrets of cocoa, including pralines, bars and sweet sculptures. Belle Toaste and Centrale Preneste Teatro
On Sunday 9 November, at 4.30pm, a new Ruotalibera Teatro production will be staged for Infanzie in gioco: Belle Toaste. On the stage of Centrale Preneste Teatro (Via Alberto da Giussano, 58 – Rome) there are Cinzia Antifona and Valentina Greco directed by Vania Castelfranchi. The show is inspired by the story “The Battle of the Butter” by Dr. Seuss, one of the most brilliant children’s writers of the twentieth century. Choco Italia on Tour in Tivoli
The fifth autumn stage of Choco Italia in Tour stops in Tivoli. The artisan chocolate & sweets of Italy fair will be on the outskirts of Rome from Friday 7 November to Sunday 9 November and will be held in Piazza Giuseppe Garibaldi, from 10am to midnight. A series of events are scheduled, from the European cultural factory of artisanal chocolate with the Perugini Masters of Chocolate to the “grandparents and grandchildren” workshops. Lots of artisanal chocolate, characteristic traditional Italian sweets, traditional artisanal nougats, hazelnut brittle, cremini, chocolates, Giffoni PGI hazelnut spreads and much more. Food Stock, Luna Park Edition
Food Stock – Luna Park Edition is the street food festival that arrives, from 7 to 9 November, at the Hacienda (Via dei Cluniacensi 68, Rome). During the day, Food Stock opens its doors to families, children and teenagers with a program of recreational, artistic and circus activities designed for all ages. There will also be the Mercury Escape Room, a Horror Theater Escape with puzzles, tarot cards and spirits for children aged 13 and up. “This is why my name is Giovanni” at the Lido Theatre
“This is why my name is Giovanni, from a father to a son, the story of Giovanni Falcone” is the play by Stefano Messina, on Saturday 8 November, at 7pm, premiering at the Teatro del Lido. Giovanni is a child from Palermo. For his tenth birthday his father gives him a very special day: a trip through the city, to explain to him why the name Giovanni was chosen for him. A theatrical story, taken from the novel by Luigi Garlando, which retraces, through the look of a child and the voice of a father, the life and moral legacy of Giovanni Falcone. Giorgio Marchesi in “Il fu Mattia Pascal” at the Ghione Theatre
The Ghione Theater presents, from Thursday 6 to Sunday 9 November, Giorgio Marchesi in “Il fu Mattia Pascal”. Based on the novel by Luigi Pirandello, the show with Giorgio Marchesi and live music by Raffaele Toninelli presents the story of Mattia Pascal with lightness and irony, denying the supposed “heaviness” of the classics. Far from a realistic reconstruction, the story spans the twentieth century up to today, to show how the themes of identity, rebirth and the desire to live more lives remain relevant, especially in an era of social profiles and masks. “Little Red Hood” at the Auditorium Parco della Musica
Fiabe Jazz is a theater and music format/show produced by the Teatro Popolare d’Arte and created by Roberto Caccavo and Francesco Giorgi which transports children and adults into the world of fantasy. The show “Kappuccetto Rosso” arrives at the Auditorium Parco della Musica on Saturday 8 November. After the successful preview at the Roma Jazz Festival 2022, the fairy tale, transcribed by the Brothers Grimm, is completely distorted in a theatrical and musical key by the ironic trio of Jazz Fairy Tales, accompanied by the music of the Marelli Brothers. “Far West Fest”, a festival spread across Montespaccato and Quartaccio
Far West Fest continues: “Culture that turns, Community that grows”, the festival spread across Quartaccio, Primavalle and Montespaccato. Saturday 8 November from 3.30 pm, in Quartaccio (Via Andersen at the corner of Via Flaubert), there will be the Itinerant toy library curated by Where is Valerio. From 4.30pm games and activities are scheduled in the square for adults and children with the Creme Brulè and Chien Barbù companies: acrobatics and puppets stitched together with the right amount of improvisation and interaction. Vallinfreda sagne festival
The thirtieth edition of the Sagra delle Sagne will be held in Vallinfreda, in the province of Rome, on Sunday 9 November. Starting from 12, the food stands will be open in Piazza del Mercato and you will be able to taste the handmade sagne served by the women of Vallinfreda, as tradition dictates. Sagra della Rola – Cuckold Festival in Rocca Canterano
“Antlers alert” can be read on the Facebook page of the Pro Loco of Rocca Canterano. In fact, a traditional autumn event is about to return to the village in the province of Rome: the Sagra della Rola – Festa del Cornuto. The event will be held on 8 and 9 November.
