NH Nonghyup Card announced on the 22nd that it has launched the ‘ZGM Self-Card’, a family credit card for minors designed to enable children to experience economic activities on their own.

This product has been designated as an innovative financial service under the Special Act on Financial Innovation Support, and can be issued to youth aged 12 to 18. If a parent holds an NH Nonghyup Card credit card, a separate card can be issued in the child’s name.

‘ZGM Self Card’ is designed to help teenagers plan their own consumption and learn financial concepts. A maximum 2% billing discount is provided in industries closely related to daily life, such as ▲convenience stores, ▲public transportation, ▲coffee, ▲bookstores and stationery, ▲miscellaneous goods, and education, and the integrated monthly discount limit is 5,000 won.

Available industries are limited to basic living (restaurants, cafes, delivery apps, transportation, etc.), daily shopping (online malls, convenience stores, Olive Young, etc.), hobbies and leisure (PC rooms, movie theaters, sports centers, etc.), and children’s education (academies, reading rooms, bookstores, etc.). Overseas payments are not possible.

Parent members can directly manage the usage limit (up to 500,000 won per month) and usage time (set in 1-hour increments) of their child’s card through the NH pay app. The annual fee for the card is 1,000 won, and issuance and detailed benefits can be found at NH Nonghyup branches nationwide, NH Pay, and the NH Nonghyup Card official website.

An official at NH Nonghyup Card said, “We introduced the ‘ZGM Self Card’ to help teenagers develop good spending habits,” and added, “We will strive to support the first step toward convenient and safe finance.”
