NAMPA, Idaho (CBS2) — Two Nampa residents are facing charges for the death of their infant son, according to police.
Nampa Police were dispatched shortly after 3:30 a.m. on December 16, 2025, to a residence on the 300 block of Lone Star Rd. Emergency services were dispatched to, and later confirmed, that an infant was dead at the scene.
The father, 31-year-old Brian Allen Lemke, told arriving officers that the baby’s mother was not at home. Detectives discovered evidence that indicated the baby died at a different location and was later moved into the house. Detectives then discovered that the mother was, in fact, at the location, hiding in a trailer in the backyard. She has been identified as 28-year-old Allysen Raider Armenta.
Idahonews.com previously reported on Lemke and Armenta back in 2019. Both were charged with three counts of felony injury to a child after deputies found three toddlers living in dangerous conditions. Deputies at the time reported finding a house full of garbage and debris, moldy food, knives and sharp objects within reach of the children, and dirty diapers in the yard. One child had an open sore on his mouth and a bruise on his head.
According to court records, Lemke and Armenta have faced numerous charges relating to child abuse and animal neglect dating back to 2017. Both were sentenced to 180 days in jail after violating parole, breaking the terms of the plea agreement. They both pleaded guilty in 2019 to three counts of injury to a child. We are continuing to investigate their court records and will continue to update this story as we learn more.
Both of the parents have been taken into custody and charged with felony injury to a child, destroying evidence, and resisting or obstructing. Nampa Police report that the investigation remains open and the cause of death is pending an autopsy.
