Michael Busch struck three circuits, Pete Crow-Armstrong hit two and the Chicago Cubs set a franchise record by hitting eight circuits, while crushing the Cardinals of St. Louis 11-3 Friday, to sign a fourth consecutive victory.

Busch finished the meeting with four strokes in four presences and five products produced. Crow-Armstrong also struck four strokes in as many presences. Inby Swanson succeeded in a two -point circuit in front of a fiery crowd of 40,038 spectators of the Wrigley Field.

Seiya Suzuki and Carson Kelly added solo circuits, allowing the leaders of the central division to strike six circuits in the first three heats against Miles Mikolas (4-6), which is a record against a cards launcher in a match. The eight circuits conceded by St. Louis are also a sad team record.

Brendan Donovan began the fourth round with a circuit against Colin Rea, ending a series of 31 sleeves without point in the cards. St. Louis, who lost his fourth consecutive match, had been bleached during his three previous defeats.

This is the only safe blow granted by REA (6-3) in 6.2 innings, which equals its longest release this season.
