MINI Expands Electric Vehicle Lineup in Morocco with New Aceman and Updated Cooper, Countryman Models

MINI is making a significant push into the Moroccan electric vehicle (EV) market with the introduction of the all-new Aceman and updated electric versions of the Cooper 3 portes and Countryman. The vehicles were presented by Smeia at M avenue de Marrakech.
The New MINI Family aims to establish a strong presence in the burgeoning Moroccan EV sector. The lineup includes the 5th generation Cooper 3 portes city car and the 3rd generation Countryman compact SUV, both of which have been available in Morocco with petrol and diesel engines.
Cooper 3 Portes
In Morocco, the Cooper 3 portes is offered in a single trim level with a 184-horsepower electric motor and a 40.7 kWh battery. It achieves a range of 305 km on the WLTP cycle, with a quick charge time of 28 minutes to reach 10-80% capacity.

Countryman
The Countryman comes in two trim levels, featuring a 204-horsepower electric motor and a 64.7 kWh battery. It also boasts a range of 305 km and a quick charge time of 28 minutes for a 10-80% charge.

Aceman
The Aceman, a new urban SUV, is exclusively available as an all-electric model. It features a minimalist design and a modern interior, highlighted by a large circular OLED screen with a 24 cm diameter.
The Aceman is available in a single trim, powered by a 184-horsepower motor and a 42.5 kWh battery, providing a range of 310 km. Like the other models, it offers a quick charge time of 28 minutes to go from 10-80%.

All three models come with an 8-year battery warranty, and the MINI Wallbox Plus is offered as an accessory.

John Cooper Works Range Reinforced
MINI also announced the launch of the 5th generation Cooper Cabrio in Morocco, available with two petrol engines producing 163 and 204 horsepower.

The sports range John Cooper Works has been expanded with the Cooper 3 portes and Cooper Cabrio models, delivering 231 horsepower. These join the Countryman John cooper Works, which produces 300 horsepower and has been available in Morocco since last year.
