Slawi (ANTARA) – The Menjangan UMKM Expo, located at Jalan Menjangan, Trayeman Village, Slawi District, was officially opened on Saturday (08/11), marked by the cutting of the ribbon by the Head of Tegal Regency Cooperatives, SMEs and Commerce, Imam Rudy Kurnianto, accompanied by the Head of the Tegal Police Detective Unit, together with the Head of Trayeman Village, Sony Boyfriend.
The event initiated by the head of RT 01 RW 04 Trayeman Village, Oki Lukmansyah, received recognition and support from Trayeman residents, especially MSME activists.
Menjangan Expo takes place every Saturday afternoon until Sunday afternoon, at a cost of IDR 10,000 per day.
To date, there are more than 70 MSME stalls or stalls ranging from food products, beverages to crafts. There is a huge opportunity to add more positions, even MSMEs are not just local.
Oki Lukmansyah, the initiator of the event, said that the ‘Menjangan Exhibition’ was held to help local MSMEs become better known.
“In addition to being well-known, it is hoped that it can also improve the economy of local residents, especially the residents of RT 01 RW 04,” said Oki, who was just appointed RT on October 10.
Meanwhile, Sony Novianto, as director of Trayeman Village, highly appreciated the activities of the Menjangan Expo on Saturday and Sunday.
“We really support this MSME activity, this is a way to improve the economy of the community,” Sony said.
Sony also hopes that this activity can continue and increase public awareness of the importance of supporting local products.
