A Gentle Departure

Martin Kelly, a cherished figure among his family and friends, passed away peacefully at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Dublin on the 26th of January, 2025. Surrounded by the love of his life, his wife Sharon, and their children, Kian, India, and Sophia, Martin found solace in his final moments.

In Loving Memory

Departing this world at a young age, Martin leaves behind a legacy of love and positivity. While he was predeceased by his father, John, the family continues to honor his memory with deep affection and respect. John, formerly of Moneenroe in Castlecomer, would have been proud of the life Martin led.

A Life Well Loved

Loved by many, Martin will be profoundly missed by his dedicated family and a wide circle of friends and colleagues. His mother, Mary; his father-in-law, Pat; and his mother-in-law, Nellie; the brothers-in-law, Anthony and Padraig; and the sister-in-law, Michelle; his nieces and nephew; aunts and uncles; cousins; extended family; friends, and work colleagues, all carry with them cherished memories of Martin’s life.

Farewell and Celebrations

The family requests that all pay their respects at Coady’s Funeral Home in Castlecomer, where Martin will be reposing from 4 PM on Tuesday, the 28th of January. Vigil prayers and rosary will be conducted at 7 PM, offering a time for reflection and farewell.

On Wednesday, January 29th, funeral prayers will commence at 11 AM, followed by a procession to the Church of the Sacred Heart in Moneenroe. Here, a Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 12 Noon. Martin will then be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.
