LOS ANGELES – In a recent appearance on Nostalgia Tonight with Joe Sibilia, Marc Summers,widely recognized as the host of Nickelodeon’s Double Dare,discussed his experiences with both the original series and the 2018 reboot. He shared his thoughts on certain production decisions made for the new version, some of which he disagreed with.

According to Summers, he had advocated for a reboot of the popular game show for years. However,when the revival finally materialized,he was not invited to return as the host.

“I had been pushing for a reboot of the popular children’s ’80s and ’90s game show for years.”
