The president of the Board, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, creates a bonus of 300 euros for self-employed workers, with an endowment of 30 million euros, which will benefit nearly 100,000 professionals after the new “hack” in social contributions planned by the Government of Pedro Sánchez.
These are one of the measures included in the draft General Budget Law for 2026 that the regional leader has presented together with the Minister of Economy and Finance, Carlos Fernández Carriedo, which reaches 15,715 million euros, which represents a growth of 7.92% compared to the 2024 Accounts.
The project must now go to the regional courts to obtain sufficient support for its approval given that Mañueco does not have a majority after Vox broke the government pact.
Last Monday, the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration raised its proposal for the real income contribution system for the self-employed, with progressive quota increases for the period 2026-2031, the self-employed organizations have explained. Specifically, the Ministry has proposed raising for next year the monthly contributions currently paid by self-employed workers who contribute for the minimum base between 17.37 euros and 206.24 euros, depending on their net income.
Within the reduced table, which includes the sections with the lowest income, the self-employed on a minimum basis with net returns of less than 670 euros per month They would pay a fee in 2026 of 217.37 euros per month, compared to the current 200 euroswith a minimum base of 710.35 euros, in accordance with the Ministry’s approach.
The measure announced by Mañueco would consist of an annual bonus of 300 euros for self-employed workers, with an endowment of 30 million euros, which will benefit nearly 100,000 professionals, to compensate for the increase in contributions that Sánchez “imposes” on self-employed workers. It will be allocated to the most “fragile, those who need the most help and reflects the commitment to a very important sector that supports the economic and social fabric of the Community with its daily efforts,” said Mañueco.
These 30 million would be part of the 1,123 million euros that the regional government will allocate to workers, SMEs and the self-employed with items to promote employment, direct aid for internationalization, and industrial land.
