A major disruption on the high-speed rail line connecting MADRID and Seville caused significant delays for travelers, lasting over 13 hours. According to ADIF, the fault in the catenary that triggered the chaos on Monday night has been finaly repaired. The electrical failure,which occurred between Yeles and La Sagra (Toledo) late Monday,took both tracks out of service,leading to a Prolonged chain of delays,cuts and blockages.

Sources from the Railway Infrastructure Administrator (ADIF) stated that throughout the night, Several trains have been withdrawing that were affected by the lack of tension or could not be removed from the road. One train, en route from Madrid to Malaga with over 300 passengers, was stranded near Villaseca de la Sagra (Toledo), with passengers spending the night onboard. This train, along with another vehicle without passengers, posed significant challenges to restoring the line.

ADIF sources explained that the primary difficulty was to Be able to start and set aside these vehicles. Throughout the morning, the affected trains were evacuated or towed, and tension was fully restored on both tracks by late morning.
