NEW YORK, Jan. 31 (Xinhua) — Five people were injured in a shooting during the Mardi Gras parade in Clinton, U.S. state of Louisiana, on Saturday, police said.
The incident happened in East Feliciana Parish Court in Clinton. Among the injured was a six-year-old child, East Feliciana Parish Sheriff Jeff Travis told local channel WAFB.
Three people have been taken into custody and police are searching for a vehicle linked to the shooting, Travis said. END
