Lombez: Musical Comedy & Solidarity Evening

by Archynetys Entertainment Desk

The Seysses-Savès Festival Committee once again invites the public to an evening dedicated to spectacle and good humor, Saturday December 13 at 8:30 p.m., in the multipurpose room. For this edition, the Foyer rural de Cambernard returns with an original creation of which it has the secret: a musical comedy entirely written and staged by the troupe. Entitled “A Plot in Rome”, this new production immerses the public in the world of Julius Caesar. A band of senators seeks to overthrow him, but his son Brutus, supported despite himself by Queen Cleopatra, will foil their plans. Between sumptuous costumes, humor and twists and turns, spectators should enjoy it. But who, in the end, will end up delivered to the circus lions?

Before this Roman fresco, the evening will begin with the play “I didn’t understand”, a lively and accessible comedy, to be enjoyed without moderation. Like every year, the event is part of a solidarity approach. These evenings are organized by the Seysses-Savès festival committee, committed to the preservation of municipal heritage. To this end, the profits will be donated to the Heritage Foundation in order to contribute to the restoration of the bell tower of the church, listed as a Historic Monument. Entrance is set at €12. Reservations are recommended at 07 81 42 33 11.
