St. Louis Blues defenseman Logan Mailloux didn’t have it easy in his fight against San Jose Sharks forward Zack Ostapchuk.

Thursday evening, in the second period, the former Montreal Canadiens served a check on Adam Gaudette. Ostapchuk immediately came to his teammate’s defense.
The 22-year-old didn’t really give Mailloux the choice to drop his gloves. The Sharks representative delivered a series of several powerful rights that made his rival stagger.

Mailloux is currently playing his first season with the Blues, he who was obtained in return for Zachary Bolduc in a transaction made last summer.
In 56 games so far this season, the 22-year-old Ontario native has three goals and six assists for nine points. His fight against Ostapchuk was his second of the campaign.
