Linda de Mol Health Update: TV Work Halted

Linda de Mol is in the rag basket again. The fallen TV queen underwent surgery on Monday for a pinched nerve and is not allowed to do anything for the next few weeks. “She has to put her leg up.”

After an absence of a year and a half, Linda de Mol appeared again for the first time at a celebrity party in June 2023, namely the Amsterdam Dinner, where everything revolves around seeing and being seen. In the wake of Princess Mabel, she shuffled across the red carpet, cleverly avoiding all questions about her sweetheart Jeroen Rietbergen. One thing no one knew…

Pinched nerve

Linda was walking around there with a broken metacarpal bone, which she suffered after one of her dogs jerked hard on the leash. “I went to the gala with a broken right hand (I thought it was just bruised) because I thought it would be rude to cancel the call so late. So at least thirty people squeezed my hand when they greeted me,” she said.

And now the SBS 6-star has something again. Albert Verlinde reveals it in the latest RTL Tonight. “Yes, coincidentally I had contact with Linda about something else and she was in the hospital yesterday. She had a pinched nerve in her foot and she was helped yesterday. It seems to be very painful.”

Dare from anesthesia

How is Linda? “When I messaged her, she said: ‘I’m half drowsy from the anesthesia.’ It was a really tough operation. She came home and she said, ‘It’s actually a 15-minute procedure,’ but she has to lie on the couch with her leg up for two weeks. She’s not allowed to do anything. Then I said: ‘Oh, then of course you’re going to binge.’”

“’No,’ she says. ‘I’m going to write all kinds of editorials for LINDA and read a few scripts for Gooische Vrouwen.’ She is being cared for very sweetly by her husband and children, she also wrote again. All shows of the program In De Ring are recorded, so she can raise her leg, but it seems to be very painful.”
