(Tongjia, 30th) Lifeng PortPeihua Independent High SchoolChairman Chen Suchao announced that in order to relieve the school’s financial pressure, the school is forced to next yearAdjustmentTuition and FeesandDormitory fee。
He disclosed that the school’s tuition and miscellaneous fees have not been adjusted for two years, and the school’s current monthly administrative expense deficit is as high as RM150,000, which does not include water and electricity bills and repair costs of software and hardware equipment.
However, he emphasized that if parents are willing to let their children attend the school but face financial difficulties, they can apply for a sacrificial scholarship from the school. The board of directors will not allow any aspiring student to be rejected from the school due to financial problems.
When he delivered a speech at the annual thanksgiving banquet held by the school a few days ago, he also said that the board of directors has allocated RM420,620 to 127 beneficiary students.
Chen Suchao reminds the beneficiary students to remember to give back to their alma mater when they have the ability, so that their younger siblings can also have the opportunity to receive high-quality Chinese education.
Principal Hong Zhiwen pointed out in his school affairs report that in order to encourage students to get a double diploma, the school launched a special class strengthening class and night dormitory cram school this year to help students cope with the exam.
He disclosed that the school’s comprehensive building is under construction and the swimming pool is about to be completed. The board of directors has also decided to air-condition the entire school, including installing air-conditioners in dormitories, classrooms and auditoriums.
