Liam’s Chaotic Final Hours
New court documents suggests that Liam Payne, 31, spent his final hours in a chaotic scene involving drug use and sexual activity. The documents detail how Payne hired two women online on October 16, Aldana Serrano, 31, and Lucila Goitea, 27, and invited them to his room at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel.

According to the documents, when Aldana Serrano and Lucila Goitea arrived at 11:30 AM, they found Payne already under the influence of drugs taken from aluminium foil. The singer asked them for more substances, and the trio later engaged in sexual activity.
Manslaughter Charges Dropped
Rogelio “Roger” Nores, who briefly saw Liam Payne shortly before he died, along with hotel staff Esteban Grassi and Gilda Martin, had previously been charged with manslaughter. However, appeal court judges cleared all three individuals of the charges in a recent ruling.
Nores’ lawyer, Rafael Cuneo Libarona, the brother of Argentina’s Justice Minister, argued that his client was merely a friend and held no managerial duties towards Payne. The ruling acknowledged the stories of the two women matched, and they cooperated fully with the police.
Kate Cassidy’s Statement
Liam’s girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, 25, opened up about her final moments with him, defending herself against criticisms that she had abandoned him in Argentina.

Kate Cassidy, US influencer and Liam Payne’s devoted partner, defended herself against accusations of neglecting him, stressing their close bond and mutual responsibilities.
In her first global interview following Liam’s untimely death, Cassidy shared her version of events, maintaining that their union was built on mutual trust and love.
She expressed deep regret and sorrow, disclosing that if she had known his fate, she would never have left his side. Cassidy refuted conspiracy theories that depicted her as an abandoning girlfriend or suggested a break-up.
She stated, “Love is so optimistic, and you just hope that everything will work out at the end. Obviously, if I knew that something would happen, I would never have left Argentina.”
Cassidy believes Liam’s tragic fall was an accident rather than a suicide. She elaborated, “We had our own separate lives, and this wasn’t the first time we had travelled separately. I just never thought this would happen.”
Hotel Staff in the Clear
The documents also exonerate Grassi and Martin from liability. Grassi, who made the 911 call moments before Liam’s fall, and Martin, the hotel’s head of security, were cleared of any involvement or negligence.
Grassi played a key role as a witness, being photographed with multiple individuals in the hotel lobby chatting and joking with Payne. This evidence was crucial in proving that Nores and the staff were not neglectful.
Accused Drug Dealers Remain in Jail
Meanwhile, Braian Nahuel Paiz, 24, a waiter at the hotel, and Ezequiel David Pereyra, 21, a suspended hotel worker, remain in prison. They face charges of supplying drugs to Liam Payne. If convicted, they could face up to 15 years in prison.
Nores and the hotel staff faced potential sentences ranging from one to five years if convicted. Attorney Cuneo Libarona expressed relief at the higher court’s decision, noting that Rogelio Nores’ role was that of a friend, not a manager.
Continuing Investigation
Local reports indicate that the investigation is ongoing, with several electronic devices yet to be analysed. This includes Nores’ iPhone and Liam Payne’s computer. These devices may provide further insights into the events surrounding his death.
