Rumors of actor Lee Sang-bo’s death arose.
On the 27th, the Hankook Ilbo reported that Lee Sang-bo died on the 26th. In relation to this, the agency Korea Management Group said, “We are checking.”
According to reports, the police were dispatched to the scene following a report from Lee Sang-bo’s family, and the circumstances of the death are currently being investigated.
Lee Sang-bo was born in 1981 and debuted in the 2006 KBS2 drama ‘The Invisible Man Choi Jang-su’. He continued his acting career by appearing in many dramas, including tvN’s ‘Romance Hunter’, KBS2’s ‘Bad Love’, ‘Steel True Colors’, MBC’s ‘The Man Who Must Die to Live’, OCN’s ‘Rugal’, and JTBC’s ‘Private Life’.
In 2022, she took on the lead role in a terrestrial drama for the first time since her debut through KBS2’s ‘Miss Monte Cristo‘, but was shocked when she was urgently arrested and investigated by the police on suspicion of drug use after the show ended.
However, the police determined that there was no evidence to suggest that Lee Sang-bo had taken drugs as a result of the investigation, and decided not to send him to the case. It is said that the suspicion occurred while drinking beer and wandering around his home while taking antidepressant medication prescribed at the hospital, but Lee Sang-bo also said that he was greatly shocked by the police investigation at the time.
Afterwards, Lee Sang-bo returned to acting through KBS2’s daily drama ‘Elegant Empire’, and announced a new start by signing an exclusive contract with his current agency last year.
