In the midst of the conflict with Iran, the Israeli military is now completely attacking Lebanon. Thousands of people died due to Israeli attacks.

Lebanon has been drawn into the Middle East war since March 2, when the Iran-backed Hezbollah group launched a rocket attack on Israel. Hezbollah claimed the attack was a response to the killing of Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in a United States (US)-Israel attack.

Israel responded with massive airstrikes against Lebanese territory, which it claimed targeted Hezbollah positions. Not only that, Tel Aviv also deployed ground troops to invade the Lebanese border area.

The daily report from the Lebanese Ministry of Health, as reported by Anadolu Agency and Middle East Monitor, Wednesday (25/3/2026), stated that at least 33 people had died and 90 others had been injured in the last 24 hours.

With this addition, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, the total death toll so far has reached 1,072 people. A total of 2,966 other people were injured.

In its detailed report, the Lebanese Ministry of Health stated that at least 17 people were killed and 20 others were injured throughout Tuesday (24/3) as a result of Israeli air attacks and artillery fire targeting residential buildings and areas in various parts of Lebanon.

Another Israeli attack hit the Bashamoun area in the Aley district, Mount Lebanon, killing at least two people and wounding five others.

In the area of ​​Zefta town, Nabatieh district, according to a report by the Lebanese news agency, NNA, an Israeli fighter jet attack destroyed a house and killed at least two people. Another series of Israeli airstrikes hit the areas of Srifa, Haris, Rshaf, and Deir Antar in the Bint Jbeil district, as well as Touline in Marjayoun.

The NNA also added that Israeli ground forces entered the town of Halta in the Arqoub area in the middle of the night, raided a house and shot its occupants. At least one person was killed and several others were injured, with four people kidnapped in the raid by Israeli troops.

Meanwhile, clashes broke out after midnight between Hezbollah fighters and Israeli military forces in the town of Qawzah in the Bint Jbeil district, following an infiltration attempt under artillery and tank fire that also targeted the town of Hanine.

Since Monday (23/3) evening, Israeli warplanes carried out seven airstrikes in the southern suburbs of Beirut, targeting areas such as Burj al-Barajneh, Kafaat, Haret Hreik, Bir al-Abded, Jamous and Hadath. Israeli military spokesman Avichay Adraee claimed the wave of attacks targeted what he called Hezbollah infrastructure in those areas.
