BEIRUT – 2025/09/15 09:26:05 – Authorities in Lebanon have announced teh arrest of individuals described as “agents” of Israel, along with the dismantling of an international drug smuggling network. The announcement follows a series of security operations aimed at preserving stability within the contry.

According to reports, the Minister of Interior stated that proactive operations led to the apprehension of terrorist groups in addition to the alleged “agents” of Israel. Separately, Al -Hajjar announced the successful dismantling of the international drug smuggling network.

Seizure of Captagon Pills

In a related development,Lebanese officials reported the seizure of 6.5 million pills of Captagon, a synthetic stimulant, which were allegedly intended for smuggling into Saudi Arabia. This seizure highlights ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking in the region.
