Synth-pop enthusiasts are in for a treat as LCD Soundsystem unveils an official edit of their track “Home” from the album This Is Happening. The remix comes courtesy of Tom Sharkett, a member of the Manchester-based band W. H. Lung.
The track will be available on 12″ vinyl via DFA, featuring an instrumental version on the B-side. According to DFA, Sharkett’s edit of “Home” was discovered online and deemed too impressive to ignore. The label credited Flo Dill’s Breakfast Show on NTS for bringing the bootleg to their attention.
