Lasaco Assurance Celebrates Children’s Day with School Visits Across nigeria

The insurance firm reaffirmed its commitment to youth empowerment and quality education by visiting primary schools and donating learning materials.
In celebration of Children’s Day 2025,
Lasaco Assurance Plc undertook a series of visits to primary schools across Nigeria, reinforcing its dedication to youth empowerment, quality education, and community development.
Executives visited Agidingbi Primary School in Ikeja, Lagos, where they delivered motivational speeches, distributed educational resources, and encouraged students to pursue their ambitions with discipline and integrity. The initiative aimed to inspire future leaders and highlight education as a route to success.
Mr. Muyiwa Anwoju, General manager of Business Development at Lasaco Assurance, emphasized the company’s commitment to educational advancement, particularly within Lagos State. He stated, “Children’s Day is a powerful reminder that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive. At Lasaco Assurance, we beleive in investing in the future by supporting education and nurturing young minds.”
Mrs. Bukola Moradeyo, Chief Financial Officer, added that the initiative was more than just a gesture. “Our visit is more than a celebration – it’s an intentional act of impact. We want these children to feel seen, valued, and empowered to achieve greatness,” she said.
Mr. Adetokun adedayo, Head of Strategy, Research, and Communications, noted that the initiative is part of the company’s broader vision of strengthening communities through education. He said, “Lasaco Assurance Plc is not only committed to corporate growth but also community development through education. We believe strong communities are built on the foundation of knowledge and opportunity.”
During the visit, the team distributed notebooks, writing supplies, snacks, and souvenirs to the students, who reciprocated with cultural dances and poetry readings to show their gratitude.
Mrs.Hussein, Head Teacher of Agidingbi Primary School, expressed her appreciation for the donation, calling it “uplifting and timely” and noting that “This visit complements ongoing efforts by educational stakeholders in Lagos to build strategic partnerships that improve student performance and create a nurturing learning environment.”
Regional offices also commemorated Children’s Day. The South-South Regional Office in Port Harcourt visited State Primary School and Azuabie primary School, providing learning materials and interacting with students and teachers. In Ibadan,the South-West Regional Office celebrated with students and staff of Methodist Primary School,Akintola Ekotedo.
Lasaco Assurance plans to introduce additional youth-focused CSR programs in the coming months, focusing on underserved schools and communities with resources, mentorship, and learning tools.
