In Liguria, however, on Sunday evening, a massive landslide hit the Aurelia in the west of Genoa between Vesima and Arenzano before the Pizzo tunnel, blocking traffic in both directions. Firefighters, Anas staff, the local police of Genoa and the mayor of Arenzano Francesco Silvestrini intervened during the night.
