James, visibly discouraged and with a swollen left leg, addressed questions about his retirement plans, stating, I don’t know. I don’t have an answer. It is something that I will sit with my family, my wife and my support group to speak it and see what happens. And I will simply talk about myself about how long I want to continue playing.

With his 22nd year in the NBA now complete, the basketball world awaits James’ decision, which could have significant implications for the Lakers and the league as a whole.
