Starting with a launch in 2021 to cater to customers seeking dairy-free or vegan alternatives, the KitKat Vegan proved popular in several European countries, including the UK. It was priced at approximately £1.
Much to the dismay of vegan followers, Nestlé shared that the KitKat Vegan would only remain available ‘until the summer’ in the UK and Ireland—though no specific end date was provided. The spokesperson acknowledged the popularity of the vegan variant but noted that reduced global demand made its production increasingly complex.
