Kimura Wins Olympic Big Air Gold | Snowboarding 2024

Kimura showed the best jump of the first round and had to fight in the final series after a botched second attempt. In it, however, he masterfully made up for his previous hesitation and dominated the evaluation with the best jump of the whole day, for which he received 90.50 points. He won with 179.50 points. Kimata attacked in the third round to improve his score in vain and took silver with 171.50 points.

Twenty-one-year-old Su I-ming completed his Olympic medal collection by winning bronze. Four years ago, in front of the home audience, in addition to the gold in Big Air, he also won the silver in slopestyle.

2026 Olympics in Milan and Cortina

Czech representative Jakub Hroneš did not make it to the twelve-man final of the Big Air discipline at the premiere at the Winter Olympic Games. He finished 28th in Thursday’s qualifying.
