Kibuli Russia, Ukraine fake the death of a Kremlin traitor whose head is worth IDR 8 billion

KYIV – Ukraine managed to engineer the death of a paramilitary commander Russia who fought on Kyiv’s side to prevent him from being killed on Kremlin orders. The figure of the Russian traitor has been hunted by Moscow, which has offered a reward of USD 500,000 or more than IDR 8 billion.

Denis Kapustin, also known as Denis Nikitin, is the leader of the Russian Volunteer Corps (RVC). However, he betrayed Russia by choosing to fight on Ukraine’s side.

The Eastern Special Unit, a group of Ukrainian volunteers working under the supervision of Ukrainian Military Intelligence (GUR), announced last Saturday that Kapustin had died on the front line. However, the announcement turned out to be part of a fabrication to deceive Russia.

On Thursday, Kapustin appeared via video link at a briefing alongside GUR head Kyrylo Budanov.
