Stephanie McMahon opened the event with a speech, thanking fans for making it the biggest WWE Royal Rumble in history. She emphasized the growth of WWE and the joy of performing in Indianapolis. An introduction video from Pat McAfee highlighted the city and the venue. Invoking Alicia Taylor as the greatest WWE ring announcer of the current era was a nod to the announcer’s skills and the dynamics of ring introductions.

(1) WOMEN’S ROYAL RUMBLE
The women’s Royal Rumble featured an exciting mix of returning stars and new faces. Entering the match, standout performances came from Alexa Bliss, a surprise return to WWE after an absence, and Charlotte Flair, who captured the final moments.
Bliss received a rousing welcome back from fans, drawing cheers with her memorable entrance. Her inclusion added nostalgia and excitement to the match. Charlotte Flair’s introduction was marked by pyro, showcasing her enduring popularity with the WWE Universe. Engaging in fierce competition, Charlotte claimed victory, demonstrating a strong finish that resonated with the audience.

(2) DIY vs. THE MOTOR CITY MACHINE GUNS (Tag Team Titles Match)
This two-out-of-three-falls contest saw Tomasso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano, aka DIY, face off against Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley, known as the Motor City Machine Guns. The match began with Sabin delivering an early pinfall but DIY bounced back after three quick falls, grabbing the Tag Team Titles. The quick ends of falls in such a contest were noted for their brevity, a point of discussion for some.
The Profits, Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford, made aggressive moves against the winners after the match, creating a surprising and memorable sequence. While praised for their comeback, the sequence also raised questions about the fairness and role of such angles in the match narrative.
(3) CODY RHODES vs. KEVIN OWENS (Ladder Match for WWE Title)
Kevin Owens, in his “Canadian Dream Son of a Securities Systems Technician” t-shirt, clashed with Cody Rhodes. Despite early dominance from Owens, Cody staged an impressive comeback to retain the WWE Title. Combative sequences and daring ladder work contributed to a climactic finish, with both wrestlers earning recognition for their relentless effort.
Ronnie科尔 and company provided a thorough post-match analysis, highlighting the memorable spots and discussing the implications for future storylines. Cody’s determination to demonstrate his mettle to the WWE Universe was a defining moment in the match.
(4) MEN’S ROYAL RUMBLE
The Men’s Royal Rumble started with Rey Mysterio making his entrance, setting the stage for what evolved into a showcase of top-tier talent. Notable moments included the shocking replacement of Akira Tozawa with iShowSpeed and the eventual elimination of several star performers.
Leading into the final showdown, The Big Show’s entrance created a buzz, adding to the anticipation. The final six-strong group included John Cena, Roman Reigns, C.M. Punk, Seth Rollins, Logan Paul, and Jey Uso. The match climaxed in a dramatic sequence with Seth Rollins attempting to surpass Cena but ultimately falling to Jey Uso, an unexpected turn that may redefine future storylines.
Keller’s Analysis: A strong example of a royal rumble where every big spot was well-planned, executed, and memorable. The utter surprise of an upset capped off a night full of excitement and stellar performances.
