The immediate closure of a restaurant business in the heart of the historic center came under the scrutiny of the police as part of checks on food safety and hygiene. In the afternoon, the carabinieri of the Sulmona company, led by Major Toni Di Giosia, together with the soldiers of the Nas of Pescara, carried out a blitz which led to the suspension of a kebab shop in via Largo Faraglia.
The inspection revealed serious hygiene and structural deficiencies within the commercial establishment. In particular, the critical issues concerned the conservation of food and the general conditions of the environments, judged not to comply with current regulations.
The place had already come under fire after the crackdown on nightlife following the recent episodes of violence recorded in the area. At the end of the checks, the military ordered the administrative closure and sent the documents to the competent ASL 1 service.
