Karlos Vémola is one of the most famous figures of the Czech-Slovak MMA scene and for many years he was and still is the face of OKTAGON. Fans know him by the nickname “Terminator”, while his style was mainly based on physical strength, constant pressure, clinch at the mesh. There he was able to tire the opponent and gradually force his position on the ground.
Vémola has always been the type of wrestler who could turn a match into a hard-fought battle where conditioning, control and mental toughness were the deciding factors. He built a large part of his career on experience in big organizations, but he wrote the biggest story at home when he became one of the main stars of OKTAGON.

He bought dozens of apartments in recent months
His great rivalries and matches with the biggest names of the region will remain in the memory of the fans, including the trilogy with Attila Végh, which became one of the most significant events in the history of the domestic scene. Regardless of the results, Vémola always had the ability to attract attention and make a fight an event that people outside of the MMA bubble addressed.
However, he is now facing a serious charge of organized drug activity and, according to available information, he faces a sentence of 10 to 18 years in prison. However, OKTAGON and several wrestlers stand behind him and believe that everything will be explained. “I don’t understand at all why I was accused in a five-year-old case, which I know nothing about and what’s more, it has already been resolved.
With the lawyer, we will fight against the criminal prosecution and detention, and I firmly believe that everything will be explained and soon I will be home with the children and Lela,“ this link recently appeared on his Instagram account.
Karlos Vémola became rich thanks to the fact that he knew how to sell himself and in the cage his salaries were among the highest and at the same time he attracted many big sponsors for promos. In addition to this case, various other speculations concerning him are also emerging. However, in the recent Realitní bubleny podcast, Karlos should have boasted that he had invested in the purchase of real estate in recent months.
He cited an apartment building in Prague’s Prosek district as an example. “I bought it for 27 million (Czech crowns, editor’s note). There are eight apartments and two non-residential premises,” revealed Vémola. In total, he delivered 21 apartments, some of which are yet to be built. However, according to him, he did not use the earned money for the purchase and took out loans for real estate. “I’m trying to keep it so that it doesn’t cost me too much. So far I’m managing to finance it through the banks. That’s why I enjoy it.” Vémola explained his strategy. Currently, however, he has to take a break from shopping, as the questions regarding his arrest must be resolved first.
