Virtualization specialist VMware warns of four vulnerabilities, two of which are very serious. Users must take immediate action.

The third vulnerability, CVE-2024-22254 (score of 7.9) allows someone with privileges in the VMX process to also perform a write action that takes them out of the sandbox environment. CVE-2024-22255 (score of 7.1) allows someone with admin rights to leak memory from the VMX process.

The Mon Éclipse application (Android and IOS) is an initiative of the Fédération des astronomers amateurs du Québec (FAAQ).
