A course led by Sensei Frédéric Archimbeaud (professor 6th Dan FFK expert Shotokan Ryu) took place at the Arthyrium dojo in Onet-le-Château. Around forty practitioners made the trip under the experienced eye of Philippe Blaise, the new president of the Occitanie Regional League of Karate and Associated Disciplines. The themes covered were complementary: bunkai (kata applications) and karate jutsu (multiple and varied techniques).
And in this area Sensei Archimbeaud is particularly relevant and his approach has been rightly appreciated. “We do not practice the same style of karate, but in martial arts the main principles covered in this course such as SHIN, GI and TAI (mind, technique and body) were there! It is always enriching to share the vision and research of another teacher, a big thank you Sensei Archimbeaud!” declared Jean-Pierre Kolimaga.
