The terrible images of the accident of Kamila Sellier, a young Polish athlete struck by an opponent’s blade yesterday in the quarter-final of speed skating, are now going around the world. The athlete, rushed to hospital, is now awaiting the results of the latest examinations.
Many held their breath last night at the Milano Ice Skating Arena when the Polish Kamila Sellier did not get up following her fall in the quarter-final of the women’s 1500m speed skating event at the 2026 Winter Olympics.
