Junior & Nacional: Million-Dollar Fine for Fireworks | League & Cup Sanctions

The Dimayor Disciplinary Committee decided to impose million-dollar fines on Junior and Atlético Nacional, for the facts presented in the first leg finals of lLeague and Colombia Cuprespectively, where at the exit of the teams to the field There was manipulation of fireworks by their fans.

The financial fines were the same for both clubs; while the sanction to the stands was for the same number of dates, varying the stands that will not be available in the next games of each competition; in the case of the Barranquilleros, the League, and in the case of the Antioqueños, the Cup.

Junior sanction

“Sanction the Club Deportivo Popular Junior FCSA (“Junior”) with one (1) date of partial suspension of the place (North Grandstand and South Grandstand)as well as impose a fine of eight (8) SMMLV, equivalent to eleven million three hundred eighty-eight thousand pesos ($11,388,000) for incurring the infractions described in paragraphs 14, 5 and 6 of article 84 of the CDU of the FCF, for the events that occurred in the match played in the Final (First Leg) of the BetPlay DIMAYOR 2025-II League, between Club Deportivo Popular Junior FCSA and Club Deportes Tolima SA.

Pending sanctions
